Be warned... his voice is A LOT more high pitched in person... but you start to find it more funny than irritating as the show goes on.
He does alot of moving around the stage, so if you are near the front, don't worry, you'll see him. If you don't have great seats, again don't worry, as he has a massive screen either side of him and one in the middle... so you'll see everything.
He does a lot of funny facial expressions so be sure to watch the screens for close ups.
He is VERY funny. Talks about everyday life, his own life and also slips in some jokes about celebs.
Also - During his show he went and wiped his face with a personalised towel. A woman then ran down to near the stage and asked him for the towel and he gave it to her. So if you are near the front or in a place where you can get to the stage ok, i'd suggest trying to do the same

Remember to take your own food and drink, don't let yourself be conned into paying high prices for a bottle of coke or pack of crisps, when you can get them for half the price before going in.

oh John Bishop is quite good, though I wouldn't wanna see Jimmy Carr - he goes a bit too far! my parents went to see Milton Jones during the Edinburgh festival I think (or maybe earlier in the year? I don't remember exactly), I thought I didn't find him very funny but afterwards they said they really enjoyed his set (his warm up guy was painfully unfunny though, if I recall right! it'll prob. be someone different at your show though, think they vary depending on the venue?). I wish I'd gone now, I've seen him on Mock The Week and he is very funny!.
