Highland Wildlife Park, Kincraig, Kingussie, Inverness-shire, Scotland, UK

Visited the Highland Wildlife Park last week and highly recommend it. To get your moneys worth you really need to get there early (opens 10am) and spend the whole day there so likely to see the vast majority of the animals.

Adult tickets £14 including donation
Children £10 including donation

There's 34 animals listed plus there's always wild birds. We couldn't see 4 of them so did well. There's Amur Tigers, Polar Bears, Lynx, Wild Cats, Pine Marten, Red Panda, Capercaillie, Wolves, Camels, Owls and more. Information is provided at each enclosure but the best time to see some of them is feeding time.

I wouldn't recommend eating at the cafe as prices are expensive - £8 for 2 pre-made rolls and small cartons of juice so take your own. There's lots of picnic tables you can sit at and eat your own food.
