sky rip off been with sky for 3yrs, when i enquired about sky hd. as i did,nt have a cred card or debit card (i pay sky through p.o.) they advised asking a friend to pay the suscription fee on her card. that done, i gave her the cash. 2mths later my sky was turned off without any warning, i then rang sky, who said i would have to pay 3mths upfront as i cannot pay by direct debit. i could,nt afford this so sky was left off. imagin to my horror when my friend rang and said sky had gone into her bank acc and taken £216 without her knowing. said it was a cancelation fee!! i did,nt cancel!! 6wks later we still waiting for refund!! they just keep giving us both different stories each time we ring. (50 calls up to now)

They are arse-holes to deal with. The best bet is to ring them when you are both in the same room, so the story must be straight then!

That is so so stupid. I was peeved off when we went all out for £10 a month HD subscription plus £150 for the box plus installation charge. Soon after they start giving out all this for free

Sky are notorious for wringing every penny out of customers for as long as they possibly can. Then when the competition catches up and offers for free what sky charge for, they have to suddenly change tact.
Always a bummer if you've just agreed to pay for a service.

they did offer Zoe the deal of "stay with our broadband and we will drop it £2.50 per month if you stay for 12 months more".
Big of them!

I found sky to be horrible when dealing with them, I was using 3 sky boxes (1 HD and 2 normal) as I never seemed to cancel the subscription... The only way I found to deal with them is that every time they wouldn't be helpfull I just said I wanted to cancel all my subscriptions then the complied
