    Default Paranormal Activity - film

    Anyone else seen this yet?

Pro's - Yeah, its supposed to be a true story and its actually quite disturbing if you put yourself in that position.

Some people are making a fuss saying they are having sleepless nights over this flick - which in the end, is a sign of a decent film.

Cons - Well, its all shot via a camcorder and the first half hour or so is boring beyond belief.

Its very low budget stuff, the whole film cost £9000 to make. Which says it all really in this case. The acting is a little off and the dialogue is poor - although if its true to the real life footage, then its forgiven.

Overall - worth a watch but dont expect miracles. The dragging from the bed scene is quite disturbing and leaves you with the question of "where would she have been taken if she had not been saved by her partner"?

id say a 7/10 film. Worth renting for a night in with a partner, but definately not a blockbuster thats its been made to sound like.

Thanks for the review! Heard J ross talking about it. Looks interesting. That bloke is truly coining it in. Well done that man.

Think my next trip to the cinema will be avator. Solightly different end of the budget scale, but doesn't mean it's a guaranteed winner, that's for sure.

    Hey,

I went to watch it after seeing the trailer when I watched 'The Fourth Kind' - must say, I thought both were hyped up beyond belief. I didn't find either to be the most terrifying experience of my life. I was disappointed with 'The Fourth Kind' - anyone seen it? what are your views? It has Milla Jovovich and from the beginning you're being told that it's all real footage, they used the technique of spilt screen with 'actual archive footage' alongside the actors - I found it to be a drag and left feeling slightly annoyed about it being sold as a true story - when in fact, it was all fictitious!

Sorry, that's my rant over...so in conclusion, I didn't like either films!

Ive seen it an i don't rate it much either really, bits of it were good but mainly i was bored of waiting for something to happen. The ending I thought wasn't that great either but obviously if it's following a true story..thumbs down for me, very over rated!
