We’ve contacted the Frugaller forum admin before posting this. Hope music listeners would find this interesting.

We wanted to make sure you don’t miss out on the news that you can stream Sony BMG music for free, legally and safely on We7. We7 is a new type of ad-supported downloading and streaming site and they’ve just gone live with on-demand access to 500,000 tracks from Sony BMG,which means you can sign up and stream songs for free and without worrying about the perilous piracy.

At the moment the service is only accessible to the UK residents only, but We7 will be working to make it accessible to non-UK listeners in future.

I heard about it on the radio yesterday morning, got loads of publicity in the news.

I signed up yesterday and had a brief play. Quiet good if there's one track you specifically want to listen to but you get a 10 second advert before each song and you have to pay for download.

Personally I think I will still use Itunes for downloading but if I wanna quickly hear a song I will use this, or youtube.

Thanks for all your responses. Great to hear some of you’ve tried it out already. Currently Sony BMG tracks are available for free streaming only, but you can download rest of the We7 music catalogue for free, with 750,000 tracks you have lots to explore. Also four weeks after downloading the track with the ad, you can return to We7.com and claim your ad-free track to keep forever.
