Default Gas / electricity - How much!?!

Just had a letter from our gas / electricity suppliers.

They've decided that it would be a good idea to change the monthly Direct Debit payments to £111.50 to cover our useage.

Now I don't know about you guys, but this seems like a lot.

Going to spend a bit of time later to see what we can save by switching.

Do you guys know what you pay?

Will certainly not forget myshoppingarcade.com! Especially this area .

Seriously though, I had no idea what we were paying and generally the bills would go straight in the bin. We last switched about 18 months ago so hopefully will save some cash.

It certainly is, but it's often people who don't bother (blind loyalty) that miss out on discounts. Don't doubt you're right about the increases - Will have a look anyway.

Cool calloo. Cheers. Interested to see how what we're paying compares.

I know we've often got 3 comps running, heating on all day and a million chargers plugged in all the time, but even so.

right just checked bank statement by direct debit we are paying

british gas: elec £62.50 a month
british gas: gas £ 40 a month <<< just had a bill of £ 80 as it wasnt enough to cover so should be more a month i think
    total of £102.50
but like i said they havent increased the direct debits since the last price hike
