Just had a letter from our gas / electricity suppliers.
They've decided that it would be a good idea to change the monthly Direct Debit payments to £111.50 to cover our useage.
Now I don't know about you guys, but this seems like a lot.
Going to spend a bit of time later to see what we can save by switching.
Do you guys know what you pay?
Gas / electricity - How much!?!

Seriously though, I had no idea what we were paying and generally the bills would go straight in the bin. We last switched about 18 months ago so hopefully will save some cash.

i personally wouldnt bother changing unless your with n power not even going there reason i say this is they are all gonna put their prices up if not now when they have enough new customers to sign up to the contracts im sick of paying out stupid prices for everything petrol food ect its going crazy

right just checked bank statement by direct debit we are paying
british gas: elec £62.50 a month
british gas: gas £ 40 a month <<< just had a bill of £ 80 as it wasnt enough to cover so should be more a month i think
total of £102.50
but like i said they havent increased the direct debits since the last price hike
