Over Sainsburys bank - Machine just retained my card. Had the hassle of cancelling it and getting reissued (4 days to get new one)! -

If i hadnt had a credit card to get cash from another point - as many people dont - I'd have been stuffed!

so, 2 letters written - one to Sainsburys bank saying I want my cash advance fees back and one to HSBC saying im not paying the Cash advance fee until SB pay it to me) - All fun and games tonight!

I know what ya mean Jak, ive had my card swallowed by stupid cash machines for no reason and its really left me up the creek. Ive had to borrow money from my mum before to buy nappies and baby milk because i dont have credits cards or any other debit cards.

I've only got a debit card, and mine was swallowed on one bank holiday weekend. It took a few days for my replacement card, and I wasn't happy. I rang my bank to ask why the machine would have taken it, and was told I must have damaged my card. I told her that it was a brand new card, it was kept safe and clean in my purse at all times. She said it was probably my thought and to be more careful in future

It's even worse than getting the card rejected with a trolly full of stuff at Morrisons.

Happened to clara twice. Has only ever happened there. No apparent reason. The bank reckons they must have pressed the wrong button, but morrisons reckon it's the bank's fault.

Has happend to me in tesco, they said i must not having any money in my account

Went out to a atm and got the money

I went to Natwest the other day drew £20 gave me £10

I was fuming I 'knew' it was £20 said to guy and girl behind me and he went sod it and tried - It gave him MY tenner! They gave me it bless em but I was not impressed. I'm getting pretty fedup with people cocking up my finances in one way or other tbh!
