In response to Phil's question we though it appropriate to give you a bit of an advanced tip.

When an arcade comes into existence, it's set up in such a way that it will be spidered by search engines. This will happen over time but quicker if you can get links to it from other sites. After a while it can actually appear in google and other search engines and certain search phrases will result in a hit on your arcade.

We've actually seen direct hits on arcades turning into transactions - and therefore money for the owner.

To get indexed, it helps if there's plenty of unique text in your endorsements. Endorsements will also help convert your random visitors into sales. They appreciate your advice.

If you / we simply delete arcades, then suddenly that traffic hits a dead end and is wasted. If you change all the details on your arcade, the traffic will still end up there, but the searcher was probably looking for something else and therefore the chances are that it won't result in a sale.

So to summarise:

You can have multiple arcades so it will help if at least some of them are pretty stable in their theme - i.e. don't change from being a charity arcade to a dating on.

Get links into your arcade from other sites you may frequent or own.

Watch your traffic increase.

Good luck.
