Mourinho 'leaves' Chelski!

I've got a mate who's a big Chelsea fan and we often have a debate about them over a jar or 2. Only yesterday I was saying that Mourinho would be gone soon, but he argued that he'll be around a long time cos he wins trophys. What he thought makes sense but Abramovich with his Billions is like a spoiled kid. Abramovich wants to be entertained. He thinks he can turn them into world beating Harlem Globetrotters. That's tricky. Remember Newcastle a few years ago? Great to watch, but won diddly squat.

I actually feel sorry for Mourinho. The whole Chelsea situation is ridiculous. I think Mourinho plays to win games, no-matter what it takes. I also think they're boring as hell. Hence 25k fans in a mid week European cup game.

Even at 1/2 price I wouldn't pay to watch them - no matter what the team is worth.

Well if you ask me it's a sure sign that football has become something other than just a sport.

If a Russian Billionare can invest £500million he expects to be entertained. Winning just doesn't cut it anymore. I don't like Jose, but I'll say he was a great man-manager and got results.
