Missed opportinities :(

I have just come back from the SFX Weekender 3 (held by SFX Magazine at Prestatyn Pontins)

On the morning of me leaving I was heading to Reception to hand my keys in.

As I walked round the corner with my case and bags, a dude sat on the wall went "Ohhhh, you're up early"... to which I carried on walking and said "Yeah, I need to get home"... then it slowly dawned on me that I recognised the voice...

...I turned round a little bit whilst walking... and it was only Smeggin CRAIG CHARLES!!

I had gone past the point where I could turn round and say something more productive to him or where I could ask for a photo with him.

ABS GUTTED!! I pretty much ignored Craig Charles. MAAAAAAAN!!!!

Though, also feel quite nice that he took the time to notice me and speak to me (even if I did come across rude my not acknowledging who he was)

Ohhhh!! Quick mention for Brian Blessed who was at the Weekender. He was an absolute LEGEND!!! Seriously. The dude interviewing him couldn't get a word in edgeways... Brian just kept telling him to shut up as he was talking (but in a funny/nice way... not nasty)

Aw, thats frustrating! sounds like something I'd do...I can be a bit slow to realise things like that *doh* though you can still say that you spoke to him, which is kinda cool! I like Red Dwarf!

Yeah I suppose to. Just wish I had a photo to proove it

I just keep thinking "Damn it! I could have spoken to him about soooo much"

Ahhhh well!! I've booked my ticket for SFX Weekender 4 for next Year. It's a MUST DO for Sci-Fi fans

I'm going VIP (ooooohhhhh get me ) so i'll get a signing pass. not sure who's going yet (not happening for another year) but i'm sure at least one person will go that I want to meet

Already started on my costumes. Eeeeeeek!!

Its always good to plan ahead! I love having events to look forward to...hopefully you'll get a photo next year
