Who remembers Chain Letters on weekday mornings from yearssssssssss ago?
If you are not sure then it is easy to pick it up.
You can add a letter or take away a letter on your turn or change an existing letter. Lower limit is 3. Upper Limit is 7. Below are examples of a typical run.
Example:
TONE - add an S - STONE
STONE - change the N to L - STOLE
STOLE - lose the T - SOLE
I hope this is clear enough for you all, apologies if it isn't.
I will begin nice and easy with a 3 letter word
PIN - change the I to E - PEN .....
