    Default I miss Woolies!!! :-(

Okays. I know there is the whole Woolworths.co.uk.... but I miss going into WOOLWORTHS and buying toys/dvds/cds/chocolates

I mean. When ever I needed something... no matter how small... WOOLIES was the answer... the ONLINE GIG just ain't the same

I hope they make LOADS of money online... then soon enough start opening up shops again!!

Well I'm pretty sure I heard Amazon were supposed to be opening shops? Hmm just checked but that was Dec 09 Amazon in secret plan to open high street shops - Times Online

Was never much of a Woolies fan. They sold so much rubbish (pic n mix excluded).

Was quite an odd shop. The best thing about woolies was that if you found it in some obscure town you might have found yourself, you'd have a pretty good idea about what they'd be selling.

It was pretty handy for picking up the emergency air-bed and newspaper.

An Amazon shop would be well weird

Yeah. Woolies did sell alot of rubbish... that's prob why I liked it. I like 'rubbish' little things... ha ha!!

I used to like going in and getting a CD single. Now only HMV do them, and even then... HMV don't sell EVERY SONG on single. They selll one or two.

I don't like 'downloading' songs... so I rely on singles. I need to learn to 'move with the times'... lol

Yeah!! Wouldn't know where to start with recording off the radio. Not so 'clued up' with all that stuff.

Though - radio stations have a habit of playing jungles and speaking over songs (to prevent this kind of thing)
