    Must happen somewhere!
That would involve the postman giving the client a tip

Thanks Drooler. Now if I ever see my Postie... and he says "I have a package for you"... I won't be able to look him in the eye!!

I tip cash - giving a present would be nice, but the poor old sod has so much to carry at this time of year.

If I had a postman with a van, then maybe a bottle or two of wine would be nice.

Tipping should only be for good service. My postman leaves parcels unattended, or puts a 'you were not here' card in the box when we were definitely in, or shoves so much post into the mailbox that things get bent and envelopes ripped. The only tip he needs is advice on how to take more pride in his work.
