Default Companies suspending deliveries to Scotland

If you're up here, you best make alternative arrangements to get Christmas gifts as there's a growing list suspending deliveries to us with more snow on the way

Marks and Spencer, Amazon, Boots Tesco, Sainsbury and Parcelforce so far.

Looks like groceries still available from Tesco though.

It's a nightmare for them and of course people of Scotland.

I know the couriers are really really struggling. I know the roads are mostly much better than they were recently. The problem is they've got a massive back log of parcels. It's difficult for them to catch up being Christmas and they already work flat out.

Throw in the additional snow that you mention, it's the perfect (snow) storm .

I think there'll be a few lessons learned.

Well luckily I'm all organised for once unlike some people *cough* Heylin1234

It's the same every year whether there's snow or not - Royal Mail at least always has huge backlogs.

I sent stuff 1st class Friday morning to Helen and still not there yet. Fingers crossed tomorrow but ordered her a present last Monday (6th) and it's not moved from Home Delivery Networks hub since 8th (even with it saying delivery on/before 10th)!
