When we first went iPhone I bought the 3g. Then the missus was out of contract and the 3gs came out. So we upgraded her to that and I pulled rank and gave her the 3g. So I've the 3gs and she's got the 3g. The problem is the 3g runs like a dog on ios 4 so it's only fair to give her the 3gs, I keep the 4, and perhaps just use the iphone 3g as a 16gb ipod touch. Prob not worth much as a re-sell.

Wow. That just about covers the upgrade to iPhone 4.

    Think we'll be taking that.

Will let you know how it goes. Nice one bud!

Depends Mooney. After trading in a 3g and moving to the iPhone 4 we're about £30 out of pocket (and new contract obviously).

The new phone's key features are the superb screen, speed and cameras. I use mine so much, it's def worth the upgrade.

Ok, got my lovely iPhone 4 today.

The screen is awsome. The speed is snappy. Not played with it enought to try the other features.

The iPhone in any guise is a revolution. If you've got on, even if an original 3g, you've already got the most important tools.

Therefore, if you've already got an iPhone, I wouldn't recommend paying hundreds to upgrade UNLESS you're going to get most of your money back by trading in your old model in which case it's a deffo.
