Default National Trust Membership from as little as £32.62 for the first year.

http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main...ries_costs.htm the current offer is if you join now by direct debit, you get 3mths free plus a picnic rug (o.k don't get too excited about the last bit ).

Check out the above link for great value membership for individuals and groups. What is lovely to see on here also is the inclusion of a membership for a one adult family. I don't have children but I think this is something more membership clubs should consider, as one parent families are not out of the ordinary anymore. Anybody who has been or has ever considered trips around the National Trust sites knows how expensive these places can be to visit. If you and/or your family wish to go on a regular basis, then I'm sure there are some huge savings to be made here! Lisa x

The picnic rug is actually really good.

If you are under 25 it is only £15 if you pay by direct debit and I person think it is well worth the benefits you get... free entry to loads of properties and car parks. Theres a NT car park near me that is £5 a car, so use that 3 times and you've paid for the membership.

I may be a little biased though as I'm a volunteer for the National Trust, and have just done 3 weeks solid work for them over the Easter holiday

Very expensive it reminds me of the RSPBB, I joined them once and ended up paying nearly £60 per year!
