    Default Royal Mail delays

    I say:

"you are being paid to do a job - You simply cannot blame the weather for your shortcomings. I honestly would use an alternative, if one was available opposed to RM. Deliveries should be paramount. There is no excuse"

We've had a massive problem with couriers too. They're all as bad as each other imo. Some not even collecting to get to the sorting hub. 4 days now.

If Royal Mail paid the council to grit the roads/have them clear so they could do their job then I'd agree but it can be really bad here so I'm not surprised there are delays.

i think part of it is sheer lazyness though. post chiefs seeing a way to get time off.

if a road is shut off, fair play, use another! there isnt a UK wide cut-off between everycity. not every motorway is shut!

I cannot begin to tell you the troubles I have had with them, it is so very frustrating, however, it seems there is not alternative (certainly not that is any better) Best of a bad bunch perhaps

The Post delays that bother me the most are when they strike. You don't see people working for private companies doing that. They get far more holidays and entitlements such as pensions etc and they strike!
