    Default New .tel domain names...

These could be interesting. They don't act as normal domain names. You can register your name or nickname etc and then you own a mini website with control panel that can link to your website, facebook profile, show phone number email address etc. Whatever you want.

To PURCHASE one now is expensive at the min, but you can pre-order for £14.99 without guarantee of getting it.

If .tel's take off they could be excellent, if not they'll still be pretty useful especially if you get in early and buy one now. They only went on pre-order yesterday at 3pm so there's millions of nice & short names still available.

I spent hours on it today and ordered or pre-ordered 53 domains. Speculate to accumulate eh?

    53*£14.99 = £794.47

Best you are right in speculating to accumulate!

I wouldn't go near registered trademarked names. All legit. Will divulge all when I've finished. Just got another 4. Whoops. Let's just hope someone buys at least one for a fair chunk.

so you cough up £14.99 for each and hope some are wanted by someone? then set your price?

but if someone pays the full £70, they get the domain and you get ya £15 back?

You got it. Except, the £15 is only taken if you're successful.

Oh and the other major downside, if you buy it outright from the off, it's for 3 x years (3 x £70's) . Bit naughty.
