Well I went to the closest branch of Woolworths this morning in the next town along and there wasn't anything like 50% off or anything but I did manage to get the season three boxset of Bones with 10% off for £24.97, which, considering its only been out for 2 or 3 weeks, I thought was pretty good
so ive got loads more episodes to catch up with lol

You did better than me. I drove up there, took 15 mins to park. It was almost impossible to get through the door as the queue wrapped right around the store. Like you say, most was 10-20% off, but didn't see any 50%. I took a quick wander around but never bought anything. The thought of queueing for 2 hours

I was worried the branch I went to would be all boarded up or that it wouldn't open until 10 or 10:30am, considering the town its in is known to be a bit of a ghost town. There were quite a few people standing around the door and we (me and my dad) thought it hadn't opened but the door opened, so, we were wrong lol I had a good look around but it is a fairly small branch and the best I could see in terms of discounts was a small area that had 30% off with CD towers/racks and blank CDs, that sort of thing...
The queue, however, was pretty long, it went right along the back corridor/aisle and it took me about 10-15 minutes before I got to the counter, though there were 3 counters open.
I thought it wasn't very clear what discounts were available on which items though, it didn't seem very obvious... there were quite a few video games but no clear signs as to how much was being offered off the marked price... at least I got something though, I don't really wanna be buying lots of stuff I'll never use but I was a bit tempted to look closer at the DS games, until I realised it wasn't clear what the discounts were and I saw the queue was long enough!-- Izzy/Isla
