I think you hit the nail on the head regarding knowing better.

It's annoying when they start talking about an investigation into BBC procedures and who allowed it to be aired blah blah blah!

We know that Brand and Ross made the calls - they're paid loads of cash and if nothing else, they should know what's out of order.

The buck stops with them, no investigation required!

If they get booted off the BBC what will it mean for us? License fee payers will save the best part of £18 million, and Ross will turn up on Channel 4, or some other obscure channel. So he'll still be about if you really want him.

Oh and as for Brand, they keep saying how popular he is. I don't actually know anybody who he doesn't give the creeps. Men and women alike.

I might be missing something.

only prob is its on the bbc ... but they had the chance to go through it as reported before it was aired

I personally think people are going over the top with this. They should have known better but getting suspended is way over the top.

yeah that would be when 2 people complained makes me sick 20,000 have now complained i think they need to sort themselves out
