Default Pizza Hut being renamed Pasta Hut!?

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...Pasta-Hut.html

What do you think? Do you go out for a pizza as much as you do a pasta? Will you know? A good move? I love both, so makes no odds to me. Just thinking that it must be costing them fortune and wondered if it's worth their while?

the reason behind the whole name changed, its becuase everyone still likes to go out and eat but with this resion people cant efford to go out to the more expensive places never the less they still go out. everyone knows pizza hut does pizza just not so much pasta they they are making a piont to show to everyone they sell pasta as well. so brings us back to these people who want to go out they could well end up here going out for a meal thats cheaper and not just pizza its more of a restaunt rather than a pizza place.

pasta hut??? hmmmm, seems a big change from pizza to pasta - sounds healthier but i dont see it taking off.

You have never been to the buffet in pizza hut, 5.99 and eat as much as you want.

I think they are changing some to pasta hut and keep pizza hut in the others

thats not bad i agree, but also, i get put off by the idea of a buffett. its like "help youself" - we, the staff, will just fill the buckets up with salad n stuff when its empty. might just be me being snobby though lol

Gotta agree, it is expensive outside buffets times, but the buffets are great. I can drag clara in to those because she loads up on the salad and pasta so everybody's happy. Even free re-fills on the drink is good.

Maybe from that point of view, the "pasta" thing is a good idea. We can pretend to be going for something a little healthyish, but then have a last minute change of heart and load up the filled crust.

I actually thought it was just an ad to let people know they did pasta.. Maybe rebranding is going too far?

The name change is just a temporary thing, they're seeing what people think about it and if you go by the poll on the pizza hut site, I don't see it lasting very long.
