Damien Hurst sells yet more tat! Are we being robbed? Damien Hurst who they reckon is worth 1.5 Billion made another 70.5million last night in an auction of his work. He sells rubbish (imo) like these for millions each....

In a time of credit crunch, banks failing all over the place, and mass redundancies, who can afford this stuff? Last nights auction set a record.
In a world full of under performing pension plans and the largest insurance company on the brink of disaster, I think I know where all this money goes.
It's the same as these rich bankers, and people from the investment industries who handle our money coming into our homes and taking thousands off each of us. Then off to London to spend it on some rubbish, overpriced tat, boats, expensive wine and 3rd homes in the Cornish Countryside.
They're taking the Micky out of us and Hurst is out of them.
What do you think of his work? Am I missing something? What about the monies spent on it? Who the heck is buying it?
