You could qualify if your on benefits or you're pregnant and under 18. Please note if you already receive milk tokens through the Welfare Food Scheme, you should automatically get the Healthy Start vouchers instead. Thought it was to good to be true we get Child Tax Credit, But oh earns just over the amount they say to claim for the vouchers and theres loads of places that you can use them for here. Sure Start Grant i was able to get that.
- 09-22-2007 10:08 AM #6arko1117GuestIf you are entitled to the vouchers, then once the baby is born they send you them 4 weekly and you get 8 in total until the baby is a year old.
So you get 2 a week to use, which helps if you use baby milk.
Once baby is a year old you get 1 a week until the child is 4.
At the top of the healthy start tokens, you get a letter. If you ask your health visitor where to take it, you can claim free vitamins.
