As you all know - Britain has become a very expensive place to live. We've had a few years of relative good times, but now there's a crisis in the world's economy and Britain is entering some tricky times.

For year's we've had an economy driven by rising house prices and growing consumer debt. Now a recession is quite likely.

We should no longer tolerate Rip off Britain. For too long now companies have got away with ripping us Brits off.

e.g. Why do we pay more for tracks from Itunes than Americans & Europeans? - It's because we are willing to pay it.

e.g. Why do we pay £1 for 5 stalks of Broccoli when you can get a carrier bag full from a good market for for the same price? Because we're willing to pay it.

If you think some thing's a rip off, name and shame it in this forum. If you have an alternative to prevent being ripped off, also contribute it here.

By sharing advice we'll stop giving our hard earned cash to merchants who get away with it mostly because we're mugs and willing to pay it.

Tricky times ahead so let's do our bit to fix "RIP OFF BRITAIN"!
