    Official gas bills

Does any one think gas prices will come down in line with oil prices?
And if so what about all of us who are on a fixed rate.

From what i can gather if you are on a fixed rate service you are fixed with the same price until your fixed rate term finishes but i did find this info on the british gas website

Guarantee - Your gas prices are guaranteed not to rise. They will be fixed at 2008 rates until 31st January 2012

Flexibility - You can opt out at any time

Cancellation - There is a cancellation fee of £35 for gas

so it looks as though if you are a british gas customer you can get out of this fixed rate term but for a fee of £35.00.

So it is worth checking you are going to save that amount before cancelling!!!!!

Hope this helps a bit i know its not a lot but im not a energy speciallist lol

It's a scandal that the prices are taking so long to come down.
