Default Good quality DVD RW discs needed

Having just purchased a new computer, I'm eager to back up everything incase the worst should happen. Could any of you recommend the best discs to use, and also find me a good price for them please. Lisa x

personally, i wouldnt go back to discs. I find a USB stick or even SD card more secure. You can scratch a disc.

Maybe just me being iffy though. For DVD's in general, id agree with yellow data writes!

So ideally it would be better for my computer to be backed up on a USB stick then? Lisa x

your call really. its much of a muchness. just my preference. Depends what ur backing up. if ur backing just files then id say usb but if ur doing the whole thing, OS and Office etc, then id disc it!

no your better off having an external Hard drive with all vital stuff backed up on there. For full recovery discs use data writes. and if you can back those up on an extra set do because you never know if one might get lost damaged...

Regarding backing up. Does anybody actually back up their entire system as in applications and everything? If so what software do you use?
