Saw this one today in Tesco,looks a cracking set for only £299.

For a few more bucks and a brand name,there is this one @ £433 @ Amazon

sweet...lol the largest TV we've ever had at home here is 26"! lol yeah I don't think you could get a large screen one for much cheaper than £300/£299... if I see anything particularly good in the next while or so, I'll try and remember to share here though
