Hi Everyone
I'm looking for ideas on how I can save money on printer cartridges. They seem so expensive for what they are.
Does anybody have any advise?
Thanks

i had the same problem i was spending so much money on ink all time time i searched around and in pcworld i found a kit which comes with 4 bottles of ink and syringes and u just inject the ink into the cartridge i think the coulor pack cost me about a tenner and the black pack aboub 7 quid but the black pack dose have 3 bottles in it, its worth going there and having a look they are really easy to use and good value for money
(sorry bout the spelling)

I find the syringe method really messy and knackered a decent printer that way. oh, and only buy originals - not compat. or recycled.
what brand are you with? im HP and find amazon the lowest in general. Its worth spending the extra couple of quid for the high yield tanks - lasts so much longer.
example - hp336 is 5ml - circa £12. a 338 at 12ml is circa £15 - worth the extra £3 ish for more than double the ink.
Canon are cheap too mind. Found lexmark to be really expensive - not tried epson or any other though.
Check out amazon marketplace - might save you a few quid

Hi, thanks for the advise.
Is there any companies that can do the refilling for me? I like the idea of refilling instead of buying new but I don't want to damage my printer.
Thanks again

Unfortunatley, I think the only way we can get cheaper items is to wait for the sales :-(
